Avesco Rent brings light to the darkness.

After seven years of construction, the third three-lane tube of the Gubrist Tunnel was opened on April 20. 20,000 people had the opportunity to visit this remarkable construction. Avesco Rent supplied and installed 14 light columns to illuminate the area. A great challenge that our team in Spreitenbach handled with great success.

The Gubrist is one of the busiest tunnels in Switzerland. Every day, about 120,000 vehicles pass through it from the Limmat Valley interchange to the Zurich North interchange. Since June 2016, a third three-lane tube has been built between Weiningen and Regensdorf to reduce traffic congestion. The other two tunnel tubes will now enter a renovation phase
