Why was Avesco Rent chosen as a partner?

Avesco Rent a été choisi comme partenaire pour les Championnats du monde FIS de freestyle 2025 St. Moritz Engadin, car l’entreprise dispose d’une excellente expertise dans la location de containers et d’équipements. La large gamme de produits, qui répond à nos besoins spécifiques et à des conditions exigeantes, est particulièrement convaincante. Il s’agit notamment de nombreux conteneurs de bureaux, de puissants groupes électrogènes pour assurer l’approvisionnement en énergie, de mâts d’éclairage pour éclairer les sites de compétition et le village du festival, ainsi que de grilles pour sécuriser et structurer le site.

What’s it like working with the Avesco Rent team?

The cooperation with the Avesco Rent team was very professional and partner-like right from the start. The team’s reliability and professional skills are to be commended, as they reacted flexibly to our requirements and proposed effective solutions. Thanks to this close collaboration, it was possible to react quickly and easily to the challenges, particularly in the particular logistical and climatic conditions of the Freestyle World Championships, which take place in high mountain terrain.

How high are the office containers?

The office containers were installed at altitudes of up to 2,700 metres above sea level. The extreme situation at this altitude represents a particular challenge, as the infrastructure is exposed to severe weather conditions such as snowfall, extreme temperature variations, high winds and strong solar radiation. Thanks to Avesco Rent’s high-quality equipment, the office containers can withstand these extreme conditions and guarantee a stable and safe working environment for the organizing committee and the athletes.

An operation not only by truck, but also and especially by helicopter!

The accessibility to the different areas where our containers were to be delivered was extremely limited, partly because of the mountain configuration, but also because of snow. Therefore, our partner delivered the containers by helicopter.

In total, we delivered 130 containers to the site!

Our containers were custom-built for this event and are therefore brand new. Their weight was reduced to allow them to be transported by air. The containers will be used by a large number of staff members to create areas for juries, organizers, maintenance and athletes.

We also provided our own energy solutions.

Our teams have installed several generators to power this amazing event. There are also several heaters on site to keep athletes and visitors warm.

On site we installed the following.

2 500kVA generators
2 250kVA generators
4 tanks with a capacity of 3,000 liters
4 load banks with a capacity of 300kW
Electrical distribution throughout the event site

That is more than 1.5 MW!
