IPAF Training
To promote safety within our company, as well as in other organizations, we have become an IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certified training center and offer IPAF courses for operating aerial work platforms. Working with these platforms involves certain risks, which is why we strongly recommend taking IPAF training to obtain the PAL (Powered Access Licence), certifying your knowledge. Swiss regulations governing the use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) apply.
Categories:
- Static vertical (IPAF category 1a).
- Static multidirectional (IPAF category 1b).
- Mobile vertical (IPAF category 3a).
- Mobile multidirectional (IPAF category 3b).
- Harness training (half-day).
- IPAF E-Learning: 4 categories + harness (available in 9 languages: French, English, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Dutch, Korean).
- IPAF In-person: 4 categories + harness (French and German).
Course duration: varies depending on request and category.

Conditions:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Intermediate knowledge of French (reading and speaking).
- Good physical and mental health.
- No fear of heights.
- Course locations: Puidoux (VD) – Langenthal (BE).
- Course dates: to be arranged with our instructor (please send an information request).
- When paying for 3 categories, the 4th is free (including e-learning and harness training). Total: 4 categories with 3 instructors = 12 participants per date.
- Trainings must be completed with 12 participants and client confirmation by email, 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Course content:
- Operation and capabilities of platforms for safe work at height.
- Risks to consider and how to prevent them.
- Practical case scenarios and exercises.
PAL card validity:
- Unlimited in Switzerland.
- 5 years internationally.
