From June 12 to 22, 2025, Lausanne will become the epicenter of Swiss sport as it hosts the 77th Federal Gymnastics Festival — the largest sporting event in the country. Over 65,000 gymnasts and 300,000 spectators are expected to gather and celebrate gymnastics, team spirit, and sporting excellence.
Among the many contributors behind the scenes, the Energy Solution department at Avesco Rent is proud to be an official partner of this national-scale event. After months of preparation, our team is now on-site to take on a major technical challenge: ensuring a reliable, high-performance, and sustainable power supply for all temporary infrastructures.
A tailor-made energy infrastructure
Since June 2, 2025, our Energy Solution team has been fully operational in setting up the temporary power distribution networks required for the smooth running of the 77th Federal Gymnastics Festival.
Here are a few key figures that illustrate the scale of our technical and logistical commitment:

3 semi-trailers of electrical equipment (with a total cable length equivalent to Lausanne–Geneva)

Dozens of electrical distribution cabinets deployed across the event site

4 generators ranging from 60 to 500 kVA

Modular infrastructures designed for the event
In addition to power distribution, Avesco Rent also oversaw the installation of numerous custom modular solutions. Our teams set up a large number of fully equipped sanitary containers, designed to meet the needs of the thousands of event participants.
We also provided functional office spaces for staff and welcoming areas for the public and volunteers, all housed in containers specifically adapted for the occasion. Each module was designed to ensure comfort, logistical efficiency, and full compliance with current standards.

Since March 1, 2020, I have been working in the company as Director of Mobile Construction and WPS. This role allows me to put into practice my passion for technical sales and innovative solutions across a variety of fields: modular construction, containers, construction machinery, and WPS.
