Renovation of the Caterpillar Headquarters in Geneva

CATERPILLAR‘s iconic headquarters in Geneva are currently undergoing a major renovation and we were commissioned to set up an interim temporary modular office space solution for this purpose.

In the first phase of the project, we managed to set up 18 container modules in just two days with maximum efficiency. The first week of installation was a real challenge for Avesco Rent. The complete installation of each module had to be done quickly so that the IMPLENIA company could start renovating the building.

In the second phase of the project, we plan to position the additional storeys of the building with a total of 33 container modules. Our planning team opted for a solution that would allow us to stay on schedule and provide a comfortable and practical facility for the construction workers. This required state-of-the-art logistics to position the total of 33 containers in various locations on the construction site and assemble them on three levels.
The installations integrate numerous options, including heat pump air conditioning, a fitted kitchen and also include presence and motion sensors to optimise the buildings’ energy consumption.

Satisfaction is total, especially in terms of meeting deadlines and the comfort of those working on the project. The building itself benefits from high visibility on the site and demonstrates to our partners CATERPILLAR and IMPLENIA the Avesco Rent Group’s expertise in modular buildings.
